5K for Jada

This September, our Trailblazer 5K will be a very special one as we come together to celebrate the life and legacy of Jada Simone, who would have turned 21 on September 23rd.

Jada had a deep love for animals and a passion for helping them, and her legacy continues to make a difference. We are incredibly grateful for the support and partnership of the Jada Simone Legacy Program and Great Joy Counseling, and for the kindness they continue to bring to The Barnyard Sanctuary.

Come walk, hike, or run in Jada's honor. Bring your friends and family, enjoy the beauty of the sanctuary, spend time surrounded by nature and our rescued animals, and help us continue caring for them by celebrating the wonderful human Jada was.

Experience the beauty of the land, connect with rescued animals and nature, and become part of something meaningful. Participants will journey through rolling hills, forests, wildlife habitats, and educational trail stations while helping support a mission rooted in compassion, conservation, and community. Those who cannot participate in the journey can sponsor the movement to help us even further.

All proceeds and future events hosted at The Barnyard Sanctuary will support our Forever Home Campaign, our mission to permanently secure the 170-acre sanctuary our rescued animals already call home. This campaign is about protecting not only the animals in our care, but also the wildlife, pollinator habitats, forests, ponds, and natural ecosystems that make this land so special. By joining us, you become part of a movement dedicated to creating a permanent sanctuary for animals, nature, education, and future generations.
